The e-clutch system works by detecting sudden changes in tool rotation speed. When the tool senses a sudden increase in torque, such as when the bit encounters resistance or binds, the e-clutch engages and rapidly reduces the motor's power output. This helps to prevent the tool from twisting or jerking out of the user's hand.
