FLEXMIX: The next level of feeding

The BMF 2500 FLEXMIX unit prevents thermal and physical asphalt demixing and reliably corrects cold spots before the material is paved. Two conical augers in the hopper ensure homogeneous material mixing right from the start FLEXMIX - as an independent machine based on the S version of the feeder. In addition to the augers in the hopper, there is a second mixing unit at the end of the short belt. This mixes the material one more time before it is transferred to the paver.

Features may include:

Controlled material flow.
  • The conveyor belt sensor, fitted as standard, ensures the paving material reaches the hopper reliably. The feeder’s automatic distance control automatically maintains a safe distance to the paver.
Maximum ease of use.
  • The individually adjustable work area and the lift platform create a comfortable environment and guarantee best visibility in all directions: to the front for unloading the lorry and to the rear for loading the paver’s receiving hopper.
High material flow.
  • The conveyor belt has a width of 1.2 metres and can deliver 4,000 tonnes of material per hour.
Simple and efficient operation.
  • Automatic distance control as standard ensures safe operation.
Dependable performance.
  • The chain-reinforced conveyor belt guarantees long service life and low operating costs.
